Extraction speed determines how much of your property survives a water loss. Our Water Extraction crews arrive with truck-mount units built to pull water fast, not just a shop-vac and a hope.

Extraction technique changes depending on the surface — hardwood, carpet pad, and concrete slab all hold and release water differently, so our crews adjust equipment and dwell time to the actual material, not a one-size approach.
None of this is unique to a big loss either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room water extraction call or a larger one.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist rather than a specialist.
Ask for credentials before the work starts, not after — a legitimate water extraction specialist will have them ready.
Truck-mount power means faster removal on carpet, pad, and hard flooring alike.
We don't call extraction complete until the meter confirms it.
Local staging is the difference between a 20-minute wait and a two-hour one.
No surprise per-gallon charges — the quoted rate is the rate you pay.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each part of the process below gets its own specific approach.
We clear bulk water fast, then move into detailed extraction of carpet, pad, and subfloor.
Laminate and engineered flooring get a gentler extraction approach to avoid further delamination.
Pad almost always holds water longer than the carpet surface, so we test and extract both separately.
We adjust extraction time and equipment placement based on how porous the slab surface is.
Furniture and upholstered items get assessed and extracted on-site when salvageable.
We don't consider extraction finished until readings confirm it, not just a visual check.
Four steps, no guesswork, from your first call to a verified water extraction result.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
Crews staged locally get to your address quickly, equipment already loaded for Water Extraction work.
A technician assesses the scope on-site and provides a written flat-rate quote before any work begins.
We stand behind the result with a documented sign-off, not just a verbal assurance.
"They pulled water from under our hardwood without warping the boards further."
Grace T., Capitola"They tested the pad separately from the carpet, which I didn't expect but appreciated."
Nathaniel W., Capitola"Extraction from our finished basement was fast and they explained the slab-specific approach."
Bianca H., Capitola"The flat-rate quote held even though the job ran a little longer than expected."
Corinne W., Capitola"They explained why the pad needed separate testing from the carpet, which made sense once I saw the readings."
Julian V., CapitolaIf your question about water extraction isn't covered here, call +1-844-578-1604 and we'll walk you through it directly.
Our water extraction coverage spans 95010, with trucks positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Capitola address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
